The Author Leslie Soloman joined the Lifeboys in 1932 aged 9 years and progressed through the company and became a Warrant Officer in 1942.
After 4 years war service he returned in 1947 and became a Lieutenant, serving in various capacities in the Company and Battalion Vice-President until it’s dissolution in 2001.
This book is not only a record but indeed a testimony to a movement which changed and enhanced the lives of many boys to play their part as very responsible citizens in our local communities today.
